FORM Summer Internship Application 2026

This internship is a 10-week position, beginning May 17 and ending July 26, 2026.

FORM Ministry Internship

The FORM Ministry Internship is sponsored by Christ Community Church in Columbus, GA and Frazer Church in Montgomery, AL. The two churches will offer a 10-week, life-changing internship that will provide an incredible, hands-on ministry experience. Interns will be able to choose an area of ministry focus while also gaining broader exposure to general pastoral duties and responsibilities.

We will receive intern applications through March 1, 2026. Interviews (Zoom or in-person) will be scheduled between March 2 through March 12, 2026. Final decisions will be made by March 20, 2026.

Please note that the internship period begins May 17 – July 26, 2026. We will select up to eight interns for the summer term for each church (Christ Community and Frazer). Interns must be high school graduates, 18 by September 1st, 2026 and under 25 years of age. All interns will be provided a small stipend for the 10 weeks. The major gain, however, is the experience of working alongside a ministry staff in a large, healthy church. The ten weeks will include 25-30 hours a week of ministry service. A normal week consists of three, full weekdays and Sundays. Any field trips and specific ministry trips/events will be paid for by the FORM internship program.         2026 FORM Summer Intern Ministry Descriptions


        • Children's Ministry: Learn, assist and be a key team member in our children’s ministry! This position will provide experience in coordinating and executing Sunday morning children’s programs and weekly and seasonal events. Learn to lead and care for volunteers, develop and edit curriculum and teaching materials, plan and execute special events and develop all aspects of a ministry geared toward children and their families.         • Worship Ministry: Assist in planning dynamic and vibrant weekly worship
        services; prep for rehearsals, including tech; learn more about worship and worship
        ministry; understand the importance of leadership and team development in worship. (CCC or Frazer)

        • Student Ministry: Explore the day-to-day functions of student ministry. Join us for big events, bible studies, and more as we navigate the summer season. Lead and assist with event planning, intentional discipleship, teaching, and preparation for the upcoming school year. (CCC or Frazer)

        • Communications Ministry: Become a passionate story teller for the Kingdom
        of God. Learn and gain in experience in print design, social media communications,
        written communications, graphic design, web, photography and video production; and
        gain an understanding of the ministry of communications. (CCC)

        • Pastoral Leadership: Learn and experience all the ministry areas of the church
        including pastoral care, teaching team, discipleship and administration; observe staff development
        and mentoring; learn how to develop leaders and teams; and participate in the day-to day operations of a healthy church. (CCC)

        • Leadership Development: Gain an understanding of the importance of
        leadership development as it applies to equipping and developing staff and volunteer
        leadership, building and training teams, discovering new leadership development
        opportunities, creating levels of leadership, and organizational development. (CCC)

        • Groups Ministry: Learn how to be an agent for authentic connection and relationship while being exposed to the day-to-day functions of small group ministry. Understand the goal and heart of small groups in a ministry setting, learn about leadership structure, culture building, vision-casting, discipleship as well as gain experience with Planning Center (church management software).         • Tech: Learn and assist with the ends and outs of church technical production as you facilitate transformative services that foster an environment of authentic worship and life change to include audio engineering, live-streaming, lightning and more! (Frazer)

        • Missions: Experience hands-on ministry experience with local and global outreach opportunities, broadening your horizons for evangelism. (Frazer)
